Notes on use.  The Rotary Indicator has been designed so that it maybe used in a vertical position or  horizontally, so that items can be stood on the surface. This allows the child to choose the plastic farm animal or even which sweet they would like, which can be of great help in the training of switch use. It can be used with a large range of magnetic materials, probably the most useful of the magnetic materials is the magnetic rubber sheet which can be cut with scissors to any shape. Also small plastic animals or dolls house furniture can be fixed to the indicator using Blu-Tac, etc.

Another useful item that may be used with the Rotary Indicator is the Latching Box and Timer (9LE2J. This is plugged into the indicator and then the switch is plugged into the Latching Box. This allows a child who is unable to hold down a switch, to hit the switch once to switch on the motor and then a second time to stop the motor, also by setting a small delay on the timer the indicator can be set up to stop at pre-set intervals around the circle.
