For use with the Sony Playstation3ä

• The PS3-SAP allows full access to all of the switch functions of the SONY Playstation3ä handset through seventeen 3.5mm sockets.
• Both analogue proportional joystick and switch functions are also available on the PS3-SAP through two 9 way ‘D’ type connectors allowing the use of custom made analogue controls.
• The analogue ports can also accept switches for easier control of otherwise difficult to manage proportional control inputs. In fact the PS3-SAP can accept a combination of proportional and switch inputs on the same port.
• The PS3-SAP includes manual buttons for Select, Start and PS to make it easier to set up your games. The PS button glows with a soft blue light to show that the unit is on.
• No need to worry about charging the battery on the handset as the PS3-SAP runs from the USB port on your console and communicates with the console by radio just like any other PS3 handset.
• For the more adventurous the PS3-SAP boasts a regulated 5v supply available from both analogue joystick ports so that you can create your own interface circuitry or connect electronic joysticks.
• The PS3-SAP user inputs are all electrically isolated from the Playstation electronics for improved safety to the user and increased protection for the Playstation.

A users existing switches can be plugged straight into the PS3-SAP, or coupled with a specialist switch or joystick assessment almost any level of disability can be accommodated.

Just imagine being able to drive round the Need for Speed Carbon street racing course with just two switches for left and right. Use a variable resistor to set the throttle and away you go!
